TrailBrake
Preserved sim-racing coaching research from an ended product thesis: no application shipped or recorded adoption emerged, and the owner concluded that credible racing instruction required professional racing or coaching authority the proposed student-built-for-students positioning did not provide.
Current status

KilledInsufficient Racing Authority and No Validated Adoption
In a high-skill coaching category, curriculum and telemetry concepts do not substitute for trusted domain authority. Validate who customers will accept as an instructor, how that authority will be demonstrated, and whether it creates a credible distribution path before investing in a technically broad training platform.
Start with a verified professional racer, coach, or racing school as an active design and distribution partner, then validate a narrow coaching workflow with real sim racers before building hardware support, cross-game telemetry adapters, physics drills, subscriptions, or a full academy.
